About the role As a member of the Contribution Trade Operations team, you will play a key role in supporting day-to-day operations at a rapidly scaling startup. Organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable, you will ensure accurate and timely payroll processing while helping to build and refine processes from the ground up. You will gain in-depth knowledge of various payroll systems and integrations to ensure contributions are processed correctly and on time. Your role will also involve troubleshooting integration issues, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with internal teams to optimize processes and communicate trends and metrics. About the team This team serves as a critical driver of operational excellence and data integrity, managing nearly 30,000 payrolls per month and ensuring the precise oversight of millions of dollars in monthly capital. In this role, the team reviews and verifies customer and account data to guarantee absolute accuracy, minimize errors, and maintain strict compliance with industry regulations and company standards. By continuously optimizing contribution processing workflows, they increase transaction speed and accuracy while actively identifying automation opportunities to eliminate manual tasks. The team leverages detailed analysis and validation to resolve complex issues, ensuring accurate reporting and safeguarding data integrity. Collaborating closely with cross-functional partners, they address customer needs, contribute to product enhancements, and share vital operational insights to guide internal decision-making. Additionally, the team manages key strategic projects, aligning resources and timelines with broader business goals to ensure seamless, timely delivery. Achieve consistent, timely processing of contributions, meeting deadlines and ensuring customers’ contributions are correctly applied without delays. Proactively identify discrepancies and correct errors, ensuring high-quality, consistent data for reporting and operational purposes. Support a smooth flow of information between teams to resolve customer inquiries quickly and contribute ideas to streamline workflows, improving overall operational efficiency. Gain proficiency in the company's operational processes, becoming a trusted point of contact for day-to-day support and offering insights on how to enhance these processes. Assist in the successful completion of key projects by contributing to tasks on time, supporting project leads, and ensuring high standards of quality in project deliverables. Compensation - At Human Interest, there are a number of factors that are used to determine the appropriate pay range for each position. We take into account the cost of labor for each position in various markets across the U.S. The base salary for this position spans $20.67 - $24.00 per hour and represents the minimum in our lowest geographic region to a maximum in our highest geographic region. The salary we offer to a new employee within this range is based on their location within the U.S., their relevant job-related skills, and experience. At Human Interest, base salary is one component of the overall total rewards package. Depending on the position, additional compensation components such as bonuses, commissions, and equity may be offered.
